Detailed Information
Overview
Lagenandra meeboldii 'Red' An easy plant related to Cryptocornes, Anubias and Buces, Legenandra meeboldii 'Red' resembles a large Crypt with wide, round leaves that grow from a rhizome similar to Anubias. In good conditions, it grows much faster than most Anubias and even Cryptocornes. Like other plants in the Aroid family, it is an extremely easy plant to grow and is well suited for beginners and experts alike.
It can do very well in a low-tech tank though growth rate will be higher and its red coloration most intense in high tech CO2 injected set-ups. Leaves will also grow much denser in CO2 injected aquariums for a tighter rosette appearance.
