    Bucephlandra kedagang

A beautiful, easy to care for and fairly uncommon plant belonging to the Bucephalandra genus endemic to Borneo island, Bucephalandra kendagang is a fantastic addition to literally any aquarium. While it is one of the least demanding aquatic plants, it's also highly sought after by expert aquarists who prize its unique appearance and coloration.

In-vitro, Tissue Cultured Bucephalandra kedagang. A beautiful and easy addition to any aquascape. After being grown submerged, leaves acquire a distinctive blue metallic tinge. Like all Bucephalandras, It is a smallish plant that is easily distinguished by its relatively long , thin leaves and red rhizome.

Like all Buces, this plant is well suitable for beginners or experts. It does does not require CO2 or high lighting at all and is a fantastic addition to the simplest setup or a high-tech plant paradise. Bucephalandras are related to Crytocorynes, Anubias as well as many land plants in the Araceae family but are definitely one of the most interesting members of the group.

Each cup contains dozens (or many more) healthy, well-rooted individual plants many with well developed rhizomes. - far more than a "clump" of conventional plants. They will grow quite rapidly (for a Bucephalandra) once planted so you'll definitely get your money's worth and then some.

As with all our plants, our Bucephalandra kedagang is guaranteed to be completely free of algae, snails, pests, or pesticides and will never carry any diseases that can hurt your other plants, fish, or shrimp. It does not need to be quarantined and is grown using our usual proprietary methods which encourage immediate, fast growth in either an aquarium or terrarium without "melt" after planting.

Unlike many Bucephalandras on the market, our Tissue Cultured Bucephalandras are 100% produced in our laboratory and guaranteed never to be poached. The smuggling of these fascinating plants has become an emormous problem as many species are endemic to very limited habitats where they provide important ecosystem services. Illegal collection has made some of these plants extinct in the wild, doing irreversible harm to tropical wetlands.

ABC Plants is commited to the ethical and sustainable enjoyment of aquarium gardening and strongly believes that the aquascaping hobby should promote the appreciation of natural aquatic ecosystems without ever causing harm. We're striving to bring as many species of Bucephalandras to marklet as possible all produced by us for the aquarium plant trade in a  sustainable, responsible way - leaving natural populations untouched for future generations to marvel at.
