VIV Mini Spin Outflow
The VIV Mini Spin Outflow is designed to keep the water current as gentle as possible for delicate fish like gouramis, bettas or shrimp while still promoting good circulation. The outflowing water is channeled into a circular chamber where it slows down and "spins" out into the aquarium.
These are ideal for tanks with CO2 injection as they are effective at promoting good water circulation without disturbing the surface of the surface of the water - which keeps injected CO2 from being bubbled out.
This unique outflow is designed for NANO tanks as the output stem curves backward to reduce its footprint. They look fantastic and are perfect for planted tanks with delicate fish or shrimp that do not like excessive water movement.
The Mini Spin Outflow is only available in 13mm for 12/16 hoses. If you have 16/22 hoses on your aquarium canister filter, you can still easily use these with a converter such as our stainless steel conversion joint or our quick release converter.
The Mini Spin Pipe is designed to be mounted freely, without suction cups, though you can use dedicated mounting brackets or a pipe clip with suction cups if desired.
This and other Mini Pipes are designed for rimless tanks. If your tank has a black plastic rim, you can still mount it but will need to file off 15cm of the protruding lip.
The total clearance over the rim is 12mm.
